This is one of those lots you have to see to believe. After being on the hunt again today and trying not to purchase everything I see, I spotted this rare set of poker chips and Russell and Morgan Bicycle Playing Cards.
According to WOPC, R&M started printing cards around 1881. They started with the 101 Tigers, 202 Sportsman’s, 303 Army and Navy, and the now well known 404 Congress playing card decks. They where also the originators of the 808 Bicycle playing cards we all know and love today.
In 1891 their company name changed to The United States Printing co, and in 1984, Russell, Morgan and Company presumed the name we know all too well today: The United States Playing Card Company.

On eBay right NOW are the decks you see above, in the case you see below, including the chips alongside it. I mean… What else is there to say!?
The decks of cards are by Russell & Morgan. The chips are of a manufacturer I do not know, the same goes for the case. The backs of the cards are Red Rider Backs, Blue Rider Backs, and a Red Nautic Back. A great lot for the price!
