So this is the first vintage deck I have bought, I went to my local antique shop, they did not have any cards on display but I asked the employee if they had any and he went out the back and got a huge box full of them, he was very helpful. One deck stood out from the rest and it was a deck from the 1940’s. They were the Excelsior playing cards from South Africa, still in the original seal! Manufactured by Cape Times Ltd. For $35 I thought these were an absolute bargain. I have a video review on my YouTube channel for those interested.

What a find! How do the cards feel like?

They feel like regular plastic coated cards nothing like bicycle, because of the age they some of them stick together. They are fairly thin too

Awesome scoop! Those cards are incredible, I love the back design too.
