      I started collecting cards when I was fourteen, in 1978, although I was not allowed to have cards at home. I visited the Yukon, and got a deck with 54 pictures of the White Pass and Yukon route in the goldrush. It was like a tiny photography book that fit in your pocket. I collected cards with 52 (or 54) pictures. Now I work at magic and I collect other cards that I like as well.

      Cool little backstory. Welcome to the community! Why were you not allowed to have cards at home?
