Here is a Hoyle PGC made in Minnesota, not in the USPCC, the box says 1983 year of fabrication and have a code that says “RED 101200 20:59”, the cards are like a bee design, but the finish is very bad, someone can date this deck?

      Hey Miguel,

Looking at the flap it says copyright 1983 so that could be the date.

Is there a code on the Ace of Spades?

      Cheers,
      Aron

No code in the ace, no code in the jokers, it dates 1983 by the box, but I thought that that just was the copyright date

      Somewhere between 1983 and 2001

Min 1983 due to copyright.  PGC was a brand by Hoyle much longer than that, however they changed the Box in 1983.

Max 2001 when USPCC purchased Hoyle.

I have a few of these and will take a look to see if I can spot and small differences.

I’ve noticed the seal is different.  Biggest difference of course is that mine are Casino Back and yours are solid Diamonds.  Interesting. Not sure what the purpose of “Casino” is. Maybe just to show where they put the logo of Casino’s they sell to.

Heck, just noticed mine say 1984 on the box, where yours say 1983.  No way they updated that every year. It would also be odd if they updated blue in 1984 and red in 1983
