Daniel MårtenssonParticipant@danielmzWhat do you guys think about the new limited edition mint 2 decks? Are they only hype? Will you get them?

Kelvin SParticipant@kelvin199For me i back the 1st…. like it, simple, marked and i like the tuck case.
But mint 2 is just hyped and i feel a lot of the backers are re-seller hoping to sell frost for $100s as Asasd is pushing the ebay story. (cant state this enough)

Which is why I think he is doing this… I got this email today from Asad…
An ULTRA Limited Deck.
I won’t spill all the details yet, but I’ll give you a few hints. I’ve been communicating a lot with backers over the past few days and a whole bunch of you are avid playing card collectors who really want a HIGHLY limited deck that will sky rocket in value after the project is over.
The current Frost MINT deck is Limited by the fact there is a 12x deck maximum per backer and that it is only available during this Kickstarter campaign. It is a really nice collectible that will easily more than double in value right after the project is over; however, given the size of this project it looks like there is going to be quite a lot those decks printed…
It would indeed be nice to also have an ULTRA Limited version of the deck available. A deck that is essentially guaranteed to sky rocket in value and sell for hundreds of dollars on eBay in the near future. A trophy piece that you can brag about to your friends and prove that you were a part of the project that made playing card history…
More details on this ULTRA Limited deck will be announced in the next project update.
Stay tuned!

Travis NParticipant@lycantivisI will buy the new limited, but definitely urked by the amount the owner is pushing the ebay story. I wouldn’t doubt that there will be a couple thousand of the frost mint 2s printed.

Kelvin SParticipant@kelvin199I don’t really care to listen his bs story at this point (aka marketing)…just gonna collect my set and be happy with them

Travis NParticipant@lycantivisAnd todays update is even more BS. He is scumbaging people out of money for a deck they won’t be able to get. Just because someone didn’t move their pledge up doesn’t mean they can’t claim a foil at the time of the survey meaning most of these foil decks can be claimed by day 1 backers leaving a few hundred to be claimed by non day 1 backers, which now brings to mind that if he doesn’t do it right, he could have problems of day 1 backers not even getting a copy if they are slow to filling out the survey.

Kelvin SParticipant@kelvin199The non day 1 backer fine…even if i was affected by it i will be okay with it.
But what is the bs is that all backer (day 1 specifically) will have to pay up once ks ended and wait for the survey to come out then asap add one foil deck before it out of stock :/
So i am guessing there isn’t any system to determine how the survey get released…unless there is a ks creator who say other wise(??)

Travis NParticipant@lycantivishe confirmed that day 1 backers will get the survey before day 2+ backers so there is that security for day 1 backers. But this still leaves day 2+ backers in the cold as theoretically every one of the 3500 could be claimed by the day 1 backers if each day 1 backer does claim one and his only offer to day 2+ backers is to allocate the 26 for the foil into 2 normal colors.

Daniel TanParticipant@danieltanWow, they’re hit $450k already with all those new add ons. I don’t understand why uncut sheets would be so expensive.

Travis NParticipant@lycantivisHint the foil decks don’t cost that much more to print than the non foils so why are they so much more? Greed. I am starting to get upset with my self for keeping my pledge…

Kelvin SParticipant@kelvin199It just business which i dont mind…what i mind is he keep “thanking” the backer and say ‘he wish he could give back to us’ (i could be wrong with this part)
Most of us would know the deck won’t cost to make, especial the LE. Logistic wise we cant really say now much it will cost so no input on that

Most of us would know the deck won’t cost much to make due to the volume printed and especial the LE.
